Bidakara Hospitality was born from the soul of Indonesia, a spirit of care, harmony, and respect for people and culture.
The name Bidakara stands for Bank Indonesia Pension Fund and
Employee Welfare (Dana Pensiun dan Kesejahteraan Karyawan Bank Indonesia), reflecting the unity of three founding institutions: Bank Indonesia, Yayasan Karyawan Bank Indonesia (YKKBI), and Dana Pensiun Bank Indonesia (DAPENBI).
Our journey began in Pancoran, South Jakarta, within the iconic Bidakara Complex. Established on February 4, 2000 as PT Hotel Bumikarsa Bidakara, the company started by managing Hotel Bidakara Jakarta. Built through PT Mekar Prana Indah (PT MPI), the complex became home to five key buildings that shaped our early growth and defined our role in hospitality. Today, the company has officially changed its name to Bidakara Hospitality.
